As we continue to serve our community, we rely on the generous contributions of our church members to support our ministries and programs. Your donations help us reach out to those in need, spread the word of God, and make a positive impact on people's lives.
The St Mary's Parish Pastoral Council is the senior advisory body to the Parish Priest. provides an overview and review mechanism for parishioner ideas, views and issues to be addressed. In addition to those appointed to it by the parish priest (Fr Jim Clarke), ex-officio members include the parish priests and a representative of the parish pastoral team. Meetings are generally scheduled for every 2nd Tuesday of the month, but this may change from month to month if circumstances require.
The Parish of St Mary’s is supported by a dedicated team of Volunteers, without whose help and generous giving of time we would not be able to achieve as much as we can. If you would like to join the team and become a part of our Parish family please contact us. We would love to meet you. We are currently asking for volunteers to help as AV-sound operator, Reader, Special Minister, Collectors and ‘Welcomer’ at our Sunday Masses. It would only be a once a month commitment. Any training required is provided. Please contact the Parish Office 5222 1977 during the working week with your current contact details & availability.
Please note under new laws all volunteers within any Parish require a Working with Children Check (WWC). If you already have one and would like to join our team, please contact our secretary. You will be advised to scan in an image of the current WWC for our records. It is up to you to provide a current WWC to us. Please contact us if you require more details to understand the process. Volunteer WWC are of no cost to you. Below is the link to the WWC webpage ‘How to Apply’. There is information on the page to help you.
The website is still under construction, this section will appear soon!
